Ingredients
- 4 salted herring (s)
- 2 pickles, diced
- 4 apples, diced
- 1 large onion (s), finely diced
- 3 carrot (s), cooked, sliced
- 12 potatoes, cooked, diced
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt and pepper, whiter
- sugar
- Lemon juice

- Soak the herrings, gutt them and cut into small pieces. Place in a bowl with the diced vegetables. Mix together a dressing from the other ingredients, season to taste and mix everything well. Let it steep for a few hours.
- It`s a traditional dish that my mother has been making on New Year`s Eve for 40 years, and only on New Year`s Eve.
