Homemade Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls

“Cinnabon” is the name of French bakeries known for their delicious cinnamon rolls topped with a cream cheese frosting. Now you can easily please everyone with the same homemade cakes.

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Butter – 60 g
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Sugar – 60 g + 1 tablespoon
  • Dry yeast – 7 g
  • Warm water – 100 ml
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Flour – 500 g

For filling:

  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Cocoa – 30 g
  • Cinnamon – 2 tablespoons
  • Butter – 60 g

For the cream:

  • Cream cheese – 100 g
  • Powdered sugar – 200 g
  • Cognac – 2 tablespoons
  • Milk – 1 tablespoon.
  • Or for glaze (can be done instead of cream):
  • Powdered sugar – 200 g
  • Milk – 2 tablespoons
  • Butter – 30 g

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk, butter, salt, sugar. Heat and stir until the butter melts. Remove from heat.
  2. In another bowl, mix water, yeast, sugar. Leave on for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the butter and yeast mixtures. Add 2 eggs.
  4. Then slowly introduce the sifted flour.
    Knead the dough on a floured table. It should turn out to be elastic, heavy.
  5. Place the finished dough in a bowl (bowl), cover with a damp towel and put in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  6. For the filling, combine sugar, cocoa and cinnamon. Melt butter.
  7. When the dough comes up, roll it into a layer (aspect ratio – 2: 3), grease with melted butter (maybe not everything will go away).
    Sprinkle the filling on the dough, distribute it evenly over the dough layer.
  8. Gently, but tightly roll the layer into a roll, leaving no air pockets. Cut the roll into roll segments, approximately as wide as the height of your form. It is better to grease the knife for cutting with butter.
  9. Cover the form with baking paper, put the mini-rolls in the form – on the side of the cut, at a distance of about 1 cm from each other. Cover with a damp towel and put back in a warm place for 20 minutes.
    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the buns in a preheated oven and bake until golden brown.
  10. While the buns are baking, make a cream – mix cheese, powdered sugar, milk and brandy, beat with a mixer (3 minutes). Or make a glaze – mix butter, milk and icing sugar and heat slightly over a fire.
    Grease or pour cream (icing) over the buns right in the mold.
