Ingredients

  • 200 g butter, room temperature
  • 300 g suar
  • 4 medium egg (s)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon coffee powder, instant
  • 200 g flour
  • 15 g cocoa powder
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 200 g hazelnuts, round
  • 200 ml milk
  • 200 g block chocolate
  • Couverture to cover
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the pan

Instructions

  1. Melt the block chocolate in a water bath.
  2. Mix the butter with sugar, eggs, cinnamon and coffee powder until frothy. Mix the flour with the cocoa powder and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk together with the hazelnuts. Finally, add the melted block chocolate, stir well and pour the dough into a well-greased springform pan sprinkled with breadcrumbs.
  3. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 1 hour. After 45 minutes, cover the cake with aluminum foil so that it does not get too dark.
  4. Remove from the mold and let cool down. If you want, you can now coat the cake with melted couverture.
