Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with salt and pepper in a plastic bag or can, add the beef cubes, close the bag and shake until all the meat cubes are breaded.
  2. Peel the onions, cut in half and cut into fine strips. Heat the fat in a roaster, add the onion slices and the meat and fry. Then add tomato paste, tomato pieces, red wine and water or broth. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and rose paprika.
  3. Put the cinnamon, cloves, allspice and cardamom in a bag or tea infuser and add to the goulash. Finally, add a piece of lemon peel.
  4. Fry the goulash in the oven at 150 ° C. After about 1 hour of frying time, remove the lemon peel and the sachet or tea infuser with the spices.
  5. Serve the goulash with steamed potatoes or bread dumplings and salad.
