Ingredients
- 0.5 liter ½ milk
- 2 tablespoon rock sugar, brown
- 1 tablespoon tea, black, fine-leaved, e.g. Assam or East Frisian mixture
- 3 carnation (s)
- 4 black peppercorns
- 1 piece (s) ginger, fresh (approx. 3 cm)
- 0.5 ½ cinnamon stick (s)

- Peel and roughly chop the fresh ginger.
- Bring the milk with the rock sugar and the spices to the boil, add the tea and cook for 1 minute while stirring. Then pass through a sieve and serve immediately.
- Tip: refine with whipped cream or a dash of rum.
