Jellied Kefir Pie with Meatballs Ingredients

For the meatballs:

  • Minced meat – 300 g
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.3 teaspoon
  • Peking cabbage (or white cabbage) – 2-3 leaves
  • Parsley (greens) – 1 bunch

For dough (glass volume – 200 ml):

  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Kefir – 1 glass
  • Flour – 1 glass
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Butter – 150 g
  • Starch – 2 tbsp
  • Butter – for greasing the mold

Jellied Kefir Pie with Meatballs Instructions

  1. Rub the onion on a coarse grater.
    Finely chop parsley and cabbage leaves.
    Combine with minced meat, add salt and black pepper.
  2. Mix well.
  3. For the convenience of working with minced meat, we moisten our hands with water.
    We form small meat balls.

  4. Now let’s do our favorite jellied dough.
    Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  5. Everything is very simple here. Let’s start with eggs.
    Combine eggs with salt and sugar and beat with a whisk.
  6. Add kefir. We mix.
  7. Add flour, starch and baking powder. Stir until smooth.
  8. Finally, add butter (melted in the microwave).
  9. We mix. The pie dough is ready.

  10. Grease the baking dish with butter. Put the meatballs in the prepared form.
    Fill the meatballs with dough. The dough should cover the meatballs evenly.
    We send it to the preheated oven.
  11. We bake a jellied pie with meatballs at a temperature of 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
