Jellied Sausage Pie (in a Pan)

Unusual Sausage Jellied Pie is a simple and quick dish that is perfect for a snack or breakfast. The dough for such a pie is very similar to a pancake dough, but it is not prepared with milk or kefir, but with water.

Ingredients

  • Sausages – 5 pcs. (150 g)
  • Wheat flour – 60 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Fresh parsley – 5 g
  • Baking powder – 2 g
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 15 ml (1 tablespoon)
  • Water – 150 ml (8-9 tablespoons)

Directions

  1. Prepare the required foods.
  2. Cut the sausages in half across.
  3. Break an egg into a deep bowl, add salt and pour in 150 ml of water (8-9 tablespoons). Beat with a whisk until smooth.
  4. Add flour and baking powder. Mix.
  5. Rinse the parsley, dry and chop finely with a knife. Set aside some parsley to serve. Add chopped parsley to the dough bowl. Mix.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the sausages lightly over medium heat on all sides.
  7. Pour the prepared dough over the sausages. Cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat for about 5-6 minutes, until the dough grips on top.
  8. Use a spatula to turn the contents of the pan over to the other side. Cook for about 2-3 minutes more.
  9. Put the prepared jellied pie with sausages on a plate and serve, sprinkle with chopped herbs. This cake is most delicious hot.
