Kefir Waffles

Very simple low-fat waffles can be made using kefir or sour milk.

Cook: 40 minutes

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Sugar – 0.5 cups
  • Kefir – 1 glass
  • Flour – 1 glass
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Mix eggs and sugar. Beat with a mixer.
  2. Pour in kefir, mix.
  3. Sift flour into the dough and mix again until smooth.
  4. Add vegetable oil and salt. Stir again. The dough turns out to be quite liquid.
  5. Preheat the electric waffle iron. Lubricate it with vegetable oil. Pour 1-1.5 tablespoon into the middle. spoons of dough and immediately close the waffle iron.
  6. Bake the waffles on kefir until cooked (1.5-2 minutes, depending on the power of the waffle iron). According to this recipe, waffles must be fried properly, otherwise, they will be soft and will not crunch.
  7. Hot ready-made waffles can be rolled up.
    The kefir waffles are ready.
