Instructions

  1. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy. Gradually add the eggs while stirring. Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and custard powder. Gradually stir in the kefir. Finally, add a dash of mineral water so that the waffles become airy and fluffy.
  2. Serving suggestion:
  3. Either dust the waffles with powdered sugar or serve them on a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Cherries also taste very good with it.

  5. If you don`t eat the waffles right away, you should let them cool down individually so that they don`t stick to each other afterwards. You can also freeze the rest of the waffles. Bake the frozen waffles in the preheated oven at 140 ° C in the oven (fan oven 120 °) for 5-6 minutes on the wire rack.
