Lamb Kebab with Aromatic Herbs

In this case, the meat for making lamb kebab is not marinated but smeared with herbal sauce during the frying process.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Lamb shank, the boneless pulp (cut into 2.5 cm pieces) – 1300 g
  • Fresh oregano, leaves – 0.25 cups
  • Fresh rosemary (chopped) – 2 tbsp
  • Olive oil – 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 2 teaspoon
  • Lemon zest – 2 teaspoon
  • Garlic (chopped) – 4 cloves
  • Red onion (cut into 2.5 cm cubes) – 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Switch on the grill to preheat.
  2. Place oregano, rosemary, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, zest and garlic in a bowl of a kitchen processor, chop.
  3. String meat and onions on wooden skewers, brush with herbal mixture.
  4. Grease the grill grate with oil, put the kebabs. Fry the lamb skewers for about 9 minutes, turning occasionally.
