Ingredients

  • 1 kg lamb (shoulder or neck), cut into pieces
  • 4 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 8 clove (s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 piece (s) ginger, the size a thumb, grated
  • 6 tomato (s), cut into pieces
  • 2 carrots, finely chopped
  • 1 piece (s) celery, finely chopped
  • 1 leek (small stick), cut into rings
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • thyme
  • Paprika powder
  • Curry powder
  • some parsley, chopped
  • olive oil
  • some water or broth

Instructions

  1. Fry the meat all over in heated olive oil, then remove. Then add onion, garlic, ginger, leek and carrots and fry briefly. Add tomato paste and fry briefly. Add tomatoes as well. Then deglaze with a little water or broth. Add the meat again and season with the spices. Stew for about 1 hour over medium heat. Finally, season again to taste. Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
