Lebanese Pies with Two Types of Cheese and Sesame Seeds

Magic pies with cheese filling that adults and children will love! And men will carry you in their arms! Two types of cheese, tender crusty crust – delicious! Prepare easily, repeat and please your loved ones!

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Flour – 350 g
  • Yeast – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Milk – 220 ml
  • Vegetable oil – 60 ml

For filling:

  • Bryndza – 130 g
  • Hard cheese – 130 g
  • Parsley greens – 0.5 bunch
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Black sesame – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. We start a quick dough. Add sugar, yeast and a couple of tablespoons of flour to warm milk. Mix everything well and leave for 10 minutes.
  2. When the dough has come up, we combine everything for kneading the dough: flour, salt, vegetable oil and dough.
  3. We knead well. The dough is soft, elastic and very pleasant to work with. Cover the finished dough with foil and let it double in volume. In a warm kitchen, this takes 20-30 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, let’s get down to stuffing, prepare products. Lightly dry the sesame seeds in a skillet.
  5. Cut the cheese into cubes and fill it with cold water for 20 minutes in a cup so that the cheese is not so salty.
  6. Rub hard cheese on a fine grater.
  7. Finely chop the parsley.
  8. Drain the water and crush the cheese with a fork.
  9. Combine two types of cheese, parsley, egg and black sesame. Mix everything thoroughly – and the aromatic filling is ready.
  10. The dough came up, very good!
  11. We form balls of 50 grams.
  12. Roll out the blanks into a rectangle, spread the filling on the center.
  13. We pinch the edges, we get a boat pie.
  14. We spread it on a baking sheet, grease it with an egg and send it to a preheated oven. We bake at a temperature of 200 degrees, about 15 minutes. Look at your oven: as soon as they are well gilded, then you are ready!
  15. The pies are wonderful! The dough is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! The filling because of the cheese tastes brine! The hard cheese has melted – super! Lebanese pies are 5 points!
