Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 2 lemon (s), untreated
  • 275 g suar, finer
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 400 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder

Instructions

  1. Leave out the butter and let it turn lightly brown, then chill. Finely grate the peel of the lemons. Mix 1 tablespoon bowl with 5 tablespoon sugar.
  2. Beat the re-solidified butter with the remaining sugar, salt and 1 tablespoon lemon zest until very creamy. Gradually add the flour with the baking powder and knead everything into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into 3 sticks, round or square. Careful, the dough crumbles easily. Roll the sticks in lemon sugar, wrap in foil and cool well.
  3. Cut the dough sticks into approx. 1 cm thick slices. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° (convection 160 °) for about 18 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining lemon sugar on the hot biscuits, carefully remove from the tray and let cool.
