Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes (possibly boiled potatoes), peeled, cut into four, from the day before
  • 2 leeks, in rings
  • 200 g bacon, cubes
  • 1 ring / e meat sausage (Lyoner), in large pieces
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s), cut into cubes
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 ml cream or milk
  • 0.25 ¼ bunch chives, cut into rolls
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 5 dashes Maggi

Instructions

  1. Fry the Lyoner, onions and garlic in a large roasting pan. Add the leek and cook for about 5 minutes. Add the potatoes and fry them, move the other ingredients to one side if necessary. Season everything well with salt, pepper and Maggi and deglaze with cream. Refine with chives, season to taste and serve with baguette.
  2. In Saarland there are a thousand variations of this delicious, cheap Lyoner pot. You can actually add almost anything.
