Ingredients

  • 150 g macaroni, cooked the day before
  • 100 g cod fillet (s)
  • 1 apple
  • 2 splashes lime juice (large splashes)
  • 1 dash syrup (apple syrup)
  • 50 ml water
  • 40 ml calvados
  • 100 ml cream
  • some fat for frying

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cod fillet, pat dry and remove any remaining bones. Cut the cod fillet into cubes and sour with a splash of lime juice. Peel and quarter the apple, remove the core, cut into small pieces and sour with another dash of lime juice. Mix the drink syrup with the water.
  2. Heat up a pan and sweat the apple pieces in it. Add the drink syrup with the water and simmer for 5 minutes over a low flame. Add 20 ml calvados, stir in and remove everything from the pan.
  3. Heat the frying fat in the pan and fry the cod cubes in it. Return the apple pieces to the pan and mix with the cod. Now add the cream and the remaining 20 ml calvados. Let it reduce a little on a low flame.
  4. Pour boiling water over the macaroni from the previous day and heat them up. Arrange the macaroni with the hot sauce and serve.
