Instructions

  1. Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice into a bowl of water. Peel the apples, cut in half and cut into small pieces. Place the apple pieces in the lemon water so that they don`t turn too brown.
  2. Mix the sugar with the vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Bring the apple pieces with the sugar mixture and the calvados to the boil and cook on a medium temperature for about 20 minutes.
  3. When the apples are really soft, puree with the blender and season with vanilla from the mill. Transfer to bowls, arrange and serve.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
