Ingredients

For the shortcrust pastry:

  • 300 grams flour
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 150 g mararine
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar

For covering:

  • 200 g mararine
  • 200 g suar
  • 4 tablespoon water
  • 200 g marzipan paste
  • 400 g hazelnuts, round

Also:

  • some chocolate to decorate

Instructions

  1. Make a shortcrust pastry from the 6 ingredients above. Spread the dough on a square baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. Bring the margarine, sugar and water to the boil in the saucepan. Cut the marzipan into small pieces and dissolve in them. Finally add the hazelnuts. Spread the still hot mixture on the shortcrust pastry. If the mass does not spread well, I put on thin cooking gloves, moisten them with a little water and distribute the mass by hand.
  3. Bake the dough in a preheated oven at 190 ° C for about 25 minutes. Cut the finished dough into corners while warm. After cooling, decorate them with melted chocolate.
