Instructions

  1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into large cubes. Bring to the boil in salted water and
  2. Let simmer for about 20 minutes.
  3. Wash and chop the garlic chives.
  4. When the potatoes are cooked, drain them, let them evaporate briefly and then mash them with butter, chives, barbecue spices and milk. Possibly use a little more or less milk, depending on how creamy you like the mashed potatoes and what type of potato you have. I mainly use waxy potatoes.
  5. Goes very well with meatballs, bratwurst or schnitzel. We`ll have a salad with it.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
