Ingredients

  • 12 medlars, well ripened
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 250 g suar, brown, crumbly
  • 1 liter schnapps (grain 38%)
  • rum

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a well-sealable container. Let it steep for at least 6 weeks. Shake gently every now and then. After about 6 weeks filter through a hair sieve and season with rum.
  2. A rarity from Viersen as a liqueur.
