Ingredients

  • 2 ½ kg mirabelle plums
  • 250 g mararine
  • 225 grams sugar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 sachet flavor (orange-baking)
  • 100 g almond (s), round
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 300 grams flour
  • some mineral water or milk

For the cast:

  • 100 g sour cream
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 100 g almond (s), chopped

Instructions

  1. Wash and stone the mirabelle plums. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line the tray with baking paper.
  2. Stir the margarine and sugar until creamy. Stir in the eggs one at a time. Mix the orange baking, almonds, flour and baking powder together. Gradually stir the mixture into the fat mass. Add enough mineral water or milk to make a tough dough. Spread the dough on the baking sheet.
  3. Mix the sour cream with the sugar and eggs. Spread the mirabelle plums on the dough and spread the sour cream over it. Sprinkle with the chopped almonds.
  4. Bake the cake in a hot oven (fan oven 180 degrees) for about 50 minutes.
