Ingredients

  • 175 g flour
  • 100 g almond (s), round
  • 150 g butter or mararine, soft
  • 125 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 bottle aroma (bitter almond), small
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Beat the sugar together with the vanilla sugar, eggs and butter (or margarine) until frothy. It is best to stir with the hand mixer on the highest setting until all of the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Mix the flour with the baking powder and slowly stir into the dough. Add milk as needed. Then stir in the bitter almond aroma and salt. If you don`t like the fine marzipan taste (due to the bitter almond), you can reduce the amount to 2 to 3 drops. Finally fold in the almonds.
  3. Pour the dough into a greased bundt cake pan and bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 50 to 60 minutes.
  4. Tip: If you like, you can put a chocolate glaze on the finished cake - we prefer it just dusted with powdered sugar.
