Ingredients

  • 450 ml buttermilk
  • 140 g suar beet syrup
  • 100 g dried fruit, your choice
  • 100 g rye meal
  • 100 g wholemeal rye flour
  • 50 g oat flakes, fine
  • 220 g wheat flour type 550
  • 60 g sunflower seeds
  • 60 g pumpkin seeds
  • 60 g hazelnuts
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons bread spice mixture
  • Oatmeal for the mold
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top and bottom heat. Chop the dried fruit. Now mix the dried fruit, all types of flour, oat flakes, seeds, nuts, baking powder, baking soda and spices.
  2. Mix the buttermilk with the sugar beet syrup and add to the prepared ingredients, work everything into a dough. Grease a 30 cm loaf pan and sprinkle with the oat flakes. Pour in the batter. Bake the bread for 45 minutes on the middle rack.
  3. The dried fruit, nuts and seeds can be exchanged at will. The bread tastes good for breakfast, simply coated with butter or a sweet spread. It also goes very well with cheese.
