Ingredients

  • 100 g mararine (rama)
  • 300 g suar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 4 tablespoon milk, cold
  • 4 egg whites
  • 100 g almond (s), chopped
  • 3 cups cream
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar

Instructions

  1. For the Norwegian wafers, stir rama, 100 g sugar and egg yolks until frothy. Mix in the flour, baking powder and cold milk. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet, distribute it evenly and smooth it out.
  2. Beat egg whites and 200 g sugar until very stiff and spread on the dough. Scatter chopped almonds on top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 35 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool down.
  4. Cut the cake in half. Whip the cream and stir in the vanilla sugar. Spread the mixture over half of the cake and place the other half on top.
  5. Danger! The cake has to be completely cool before you put the cream on it!
  6. Tip: It is best to cut the cake with an electric knife so that the cream does not run out on the sides.
