Ingredients

  • 200 g nouat (nut nouat)
  • 100 g mararine
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon, ground
  • 1 pinch (s) ground clove (s)
  • 75 g powdered suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 300 grams flour
  • 150 g couverture, whole milk
  • Confectionery (mocha beans) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Knead the nougat with margarine. Add egg, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, mixed cloves, powdered sugar and salt. Knead the flour mixed with baking powder into the mixture. Chill the dough for approx. 1 hour, then roll out approx. 5 mm thick between foil. Cut out stars (approx. 5 cm) and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 10 minutes at 175 degrees, allow to cool.
  3. Melt the couverture according to the instructions and brush the stars with it. Place a mocha bean in the middle of each star. Makes approx. 50 pieces.
