Directions
Before preparing stuffed peppers with mushrooms, smoked chicken and bulgur, prepare all the necessary products. Rinse bulgur well and boil in salted water (in a ratio of 1: 2) until tender (20 minutes).
Peel the mushrooms and cut into small cubes.
Put the mushrooms in a dry frying pan and fry over low heat until half cooked. Let the moisture evaporate a little.
Cut the smoked chicken breast into small cubes.
Grate cheese on a coarse grater.
Wash green onions, dry and chop finely.
Cut the stems from the sprigs of parsley and dill. Chop the herbs with a knife.
Cut the pepper into two halves longitudinally to preserve the stalk on both parts of the pepper. Clean out seeds and partitions.
Prepare the filling for the pepper. Send boiled bulgur, fried mushrooms, smoked breast, chopped greens and grated cheese to a bowl (leave part of the cheese for sprinkling with stuffed peppers before baking). Add sour cream, salt, black pepper and paprika to the filling. Mix everything well.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Stuff the pepper halves with mushrooms, cheese, chicken breast and bulgur filling. Optionally add 0.5 teaspoons of butter to each stuffed pepper.
Put the pepper stuffed with chicken, mushrooms, cheese and bulgur on a baking sheet covered with foil. Sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese on top.
Put in a preheated oven and bake the stuffed peppers in the oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Put the baked peppers with chicken, mushrooms, bulgur and cheese on a dish, garnish with herbs and serve with sour cream.
Enjoy your meal!
