Ingredients

  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 500g flour
  • 60 g butter, soft
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon sunflower seeds
  • 150 g cheese, Alläu Emmentaler
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 125 g cheese, brie
  • 150 g layer cheese
  • 1 egg (s), size. M.

Instructions

  1. Crumble yeast and dissolve in milk. Work together with flour, butter, sugar and salt to form a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in the oven at 50 ° C, switched off, until the volume has doubled.
  2. For the filling, grate the Emmentaler cheese, grind the Brie in a blender together with the feta and the layered cheese. Add the Emmentaler and the egg. Process everything into a creamy mass and chill. Knead the yeast dough vigorously and roll it out into a square with an edge length of 40 cm. Spread the cheese mixture on top. Fold in the corners of the square towards the center. Brush the bread with water and sprinkle with the sunflower seeds, press down the seeds.
  3. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and put in the cold oven. Switch on the oven (electric stove: 175 ° C, fan oven: 160 ° C, gas: level 2), bake for about 50 minutes.
  4. Let the bread cool down a little, cut open and serve.
  5. Makes about 20 slices. Crunchy salad goes well with it.
