Ingredients

  • 750 g wheat flour
  • 450 g water, start lukewarm with 400 ml, possibly add a little more
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt, possibly a little more
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sugar
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 250 g herb butter (1 roll)

Instructions

  1. Make a yeast dough from the first 6 ingredients. I. E. Put the flour in a bowl, crumble the yeast into a well, pour the sugar on the yeast and add a little lukewarm water. Close the hollow with flour and let stand for 5 minutes. Add the rest of the water and knead a dough. Then let it rise in a warm place. I always take a penguin bowl and put it in the sink filled with warm water. If the bowl rises, the dough is ready. If he has not walked enough yet, he should double his volume, knead briefly and let it go again.
  2. Roll out the dough and spread the herb butter. Use a pizza wheel to cut the sheet of dough into strips and roll up the strips.
  3. Line the bottom of a springform pan with baking paper and butter the sides and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. As with a rose cake, place the dough snails next to each other.
  4. Let rise for 10 minutes at 50 degrees with top and bottom heat, then bake for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
  5. It is best to serve it warm!
