Ingredients

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 stems rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Ground pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon basil, chopped, dried or fresh
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek

Instructions

  1. The butter should be at room temperature so that it can be worked with a fork.
  2. The two cloves of garlic are peeled and finely chopped. The rosemary is washed and also finely chopped. About 1 tablespoon of the butter is melted in a small saucepan. In it, the chopped garlic cloves are sweated with the chopped rosemary. As soon as the whole thing turns a little brown, take it off the stove and let it cool down.
  3. Now mix the cooled garlic and rosemary mixture with the butter and the other ingredients on a large, deep plate with a fork and knead. If desired, add salt and pepper or add more Sambal Oelek for more spiciness.
