  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 3 teaspoons herbs, fresh and finely chopped (chives, parsley
  • Paprika powder or cayenne pepper
  • nutmeg

  • pepper
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat all ingredients in a bowl with a hand mixer for about two minutes until frothy. Taste again, shape into a herb butter roll or put in a mold and refrigerate.
  2. Variations of this lime herb butter are a pure herb or garlic butter and a simple lime salt butter. Each variety goes well with both bread and steak.
