Ingredients

  • 80 g smoked bellies
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 500 g tomato (s) (or peeled from the can)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 0.5 ½ hot peppers, red
  • 1 bunch basil
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 3 tablespoon parmesan
  • 3 tablespoon oil (olive oil, cold pressed - extra virgin)
  • 350 g pasta, lon, smooth tube pasta

Instructions

  1. Skin, core and dice tomatoes, peel and finely chop garlic clove and onion, chop bacon, core and chop peppers, pluck basil.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and brown the bacon. Then take the bacon out of the pan and sauté with 2 tablespoons of oil onion, garlic and peppers until soft. Then stir in the tomatoes and bacon. Let it simmer for 20 minutes and add salt. Don`t forget to stir!
  3. While the sauce is being prepared, the pasta is cooked al dente in plenty of water and salt is added. When the sauce and pasta are ready, mix them together and mix in the parmesan or pecorino and basil.
