Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 400 g wholemeal spelled flour
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 100 g butter
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 pinch (s) salt

For covering:

  • 4 bell pepper (s)
  • 1 apple
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 cup water, about 00 ml
  • 4 teaspoons Provence herbs
  • 2 teaspoons paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 300 g cheese, to taste, Gouda or mountain cheese

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk, butter and salt in a saucepan. Do not let it get too hot, otherwise the yeast cells will die if you add them afterwards. The temperature should be lukewarm. Then take it off the heat and add the yeast crumbled a little, stir and wait until it has dissolved. Now add the milk to the flour and knead into a smooth dough.
  2. In the meantime, clean and cut the peppers, apples and onions, then steam with a cup of water for 20 minutes. Then season with herbs, paprika and soy sauce.
  3. Spread the yeast dough evenly in a greased springform pan or on a tall baking sheet.
  4. Pre-bake at 200 ° C for 20 minutes. Cover with the vegetables and grated cheese and bake for 10 minutes.
