Peppers Stuffed with Chicken in the Oven

Chicken stuffed peppers in the oven is a simple and delicious dish. The tomato gives juiciness to the chicken, and the cheese gives the piquancy. Delicious and aromatic!

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Bulgarian pepper – 3 pieces
  • Onions – 1 Piece (not large)
  • Chicken fillet – 300 Grams
  • Tomato – 1 Piece
  • Cheese – 70 Grams (hard)
  • Sunflower oil – 20 Milliliters
  • Salt – To taste
  • Ground black pepper – To taste

Directions

  1. Wash the chicken fillet and mince or chop with a blender.
  2. Wash the tomato and cut it into small cubes. Add to fillet.
  3. Peel the onions, wash and chop finely. Place in a skillet with sunflower oil.
  4. Fry the onions until transparent.
  5. Add fried onions to fillets and tomatoes.
  6. Add shredded cheese.
  7. Season with salt, pepper and stir all the minced meat ingredients.
  8. Cut the bell pepper in half lengthwise. Remove the seed pod and wash.
  9. Fill the peppers with minced meat and place in a baking dish. Pour some water or broth into the mold. Cover with foil and send to oven.
  10. Cook the peppers in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  11. Then sprinkle with grated cheese and keep in the oven for another 5 minutes until it melts.
  12. Chicken stuffed pepper in the oven is ready. Serve hot.
