Stuffed Potatoes in the Oven

Today is a great recipe for stuffed potatoes baked in the oven. Tasty and simple, but what else is needed! We stuff the potatoes with filling, which after baking becomes like a soufflé, and at the same time very tasty! I recommend trying to make potatoes for real!

Ingredients

  • Large potatoes – 4-5 pcs.
  • Baked brisket (or sausage, ham, etc.) – 200-250 g
  • Mozzarella cheese – 150 g
  • Eggs – 3-4 pcs.
  • Green onions – 1 small bunch
  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Butter – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare a few large potatoes (wash and dry well). Place them in a fireproof mold and lightly drizzle with vegetable oil. We send the potatoes to the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, bake until tender, for 40-50 minutes. Check the readiness of the potatoes with a wooden skewer, the potatoes should become soft.
  2. The potatoes are baked, then everything will be much faster.
    We will prepare all the necessary ingredients for the filling.
  3. Let’s make potato “boats”: cut off the “caps” of the baked potatoes and carefully remove the flesh with a spoon, leaving thin walls.
  4. While the potatoes are hot, make mashed potatoes. To do this, crush a third of the potatoes taken from the baked tubers with butter. (Leftover potatoes can be used to prepare other dishes.)
  5. Finely chop the green onion.
  6. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  7. Cut the baked brisket (or any other piece of meat, or sausage, ham) into thin strips.
  8. Add green onions, cheese, and meat to mashed potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Whisk the eggs a little.
  10. Add the beaten eggs to the filling. Mix everything well.
  11. Let’s fill the potato “boats” with the filling.
  12. Let’s send the stuffed potatoes to the oven. The temperature is the same, 200 degrees. Time: 20 minutes is enough. (I put the filling remaining after filling the potato “boats” in a separate mold and baked it along with the potatoes.)
  13. It turned out tasty. The filling is baked and you get a cheese and potato soufflé. Simple recipe, repeat to your health!
