Potatoes Stuffed with Green Peas and Cheese (in the Oven)

If you decide to cook an original and tasty potato dish, I bring to your attention a great option – potatoes stuffed with green peas and cheese. It turns out portioned potato boats with excellent filling. This recipe is very simple and affordable. Be sure to take note.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Large potatoes – 400 g (2 pcs.)
  • Frozen green peas – 100 g
  • Onions – 70 g
  • Hard cheese – 80 g
  • Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Wash the potatoes well, transfer to a saucepan and add water, cook for 20-25 minutes. Then drain the water, cool the potatoes.
  2. Peel, wash, and dry onions. Cut the onion into small cubes.
  3. Heat some oil in a frying pan, put onion and fry, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes. Then add the peas to the pan and fry, stirring occasionally, for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Cut the potatoes in half.
  5. Using a teaspoon, remove the middle from the potatoes.
  6. Mash the extracted potato pulp in mashed potatoes.
  7. Add fried onions with peas and paprika to the potatoes.
  8. Grate hard cheese on a medium grater, add to potatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mix well.
  9. Fill the potatoes with the prepared filling and place them in a baking dish or baking sheet lined with foil. Bake stuffed potatoes at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Potatoes stuffed with green peas and cheese are ready.
