Pickled Garlic with Gooseberries

Pickled garlic with gooseberries is an original appetizer that is always in great demand at the festive table, and it has to be constantly added, as it is eaten with lightning speed.

Ingredients

  • Garlic – 300 g
  • Gooseberry – 300 g
  • Water – 1 l
  • Salt – 2 tbsp
  • Sugar – 2 teaspoon
  • Vinegar 9% – 200 ml

Directions

  1. We prepare the ingredients.
  2. Pour water into a ladle.
  3. Add sugar.
  4. Then add salt.
  5. We cut off the tails from the gooseberry.
  6. We wash the gooseberries.
  7. Peel the garlic and put it in a prepared jar.
  8. Put the gooseberries on top of the garlic.
  9. Bring water with salt and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and add vinegar. Fill the garlic with gooseberries with the resulting marinade.
  10. Close the jar of marinated gooseberries and garlic with a clean lid. Pickled garlic with gooseberries will be ready to eat in two weeks.
