Ingredients

  • 500 g ooseberries
  • 1 onion (s), diced
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 fig (s), dried, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon fruit vinegar
  • 250 g preservin suar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cm ginger, grated
  • Pepper, black
  • 1 pinch (s) cinnamon
  • 2 pinches clove (s), ground
  • some lemon peel, grated

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and simmer in a saucepan for 20 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, rinse the jam jars thoroughly, then pour the hot chutney into the prepared jars and close tightly.
  3. Has a long shelf life in the closed jars.
