Ingredients

  • 2 ½ liters water
  • 3 large potato (s)
  • 600 g chicken wins or pork ribs
  • 2 carrot (s)
  • 1 piece (s) celery
  • 1 parsley root (s)
  • 4 gherkin (s), firm
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 ½ glass cucumber liquid
  • some allspice
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 75 ml cream
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 teaspoons dill, fresh, chopped
  • 1 cube chicken broth
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Grate the cucumber, collect the juice from the cucumber and set it aside for the time being. Briefly fry the grated cucumber in hot butter. Then add the flour and sweat for about 3 minutes, set aside.
  2. In the meantime prepare the meat and vegetable broth. To do this, bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan and then add the meat. Add 1 cube of chicken stock, allspice and bay leaves. Cook for about 15 minutes (ribs take longer).
  3. In the meantime, peel, dice and add the vegetables and potatoes. Cook the vegetables with the meat for about 20 minutes and only then add the cucumbers. Then pour in the cucumber liquid. Let cook for another 10 minutes. While stirring slowly add the cream and add the dill. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
