Ingredients
For the dough:
- 200 g suar
- 200 g mararine or butter
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 egg (s)
- 375 grams flour
- 1 packet baking powder
For the filling:
- 750 ml milk
- 2 packs custard powder
- 200 g poppy seeds
- 150 grams sugar

- Knead the dough ingredients as usual. Roll out 3/4 of the dough in a cake tin, pull up the edge about 3 cm.
- For the filling, stir in the custard powder, sugar and poppy seeds in the cold milk and bring to the boil while stirring constantly. Let it soak for five minutes!
- Pour the poppy seed pudding mixture into the cake tin and crumble the remaining dough on top
- Bake at 180 ° for 40 - 45 minutes, then let cool down well!
- My tip: Instead of rolling out the dough, I put it in the greased mold and press it into the mold with my hand! Sounds strange, but works great!
