Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s), (slices about 0.5cm)
  • 4 large onion (s)
  • 3 dl vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoon applesauce
  • 300 g ham or bacon
  • salt
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Spread the gratin dish with butter.
  2. Cover the bottom of the gratin dish well with potato slices. Halve the onions and cut into approx. 0.2cm strips and fry them in the frying pan until light brown. Add the applesauce and season with salt. Spread the whole thing over the potato slices and top with ham or bacon. Cover with another layer of potatoes, add the stock and season with salt.
  3. Bake in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes at 200 degrees.
