- 1 bunch soup greens
- 0.5 ½ savoy cabbage
- 1 ½ kg potato (s)
- 100 g pork belly, smoked
- 2 ½ liters water
- salt and pepper

- Wash soup greens, cut into cubes. Peel and wash the potatoes and also cut them into large cubes. Wash the savoy cabbage, cut into pieces.
- Heat the water and add the smoked pork belly. If you don`t like bacon, you can leave it out, but it gives the soup a good flavor. Add the soup greens, potatoes and the chopped savoy cabbage. Let simmer for about 30-40 minutes.
- Remove the bacon and strain the soup through a sieve with larger holes. I think the consistency is very good, not too fine and not too coarse. You can also use a blender if necessary, but be careful, otherwise the soup will become slimy. Or just a potato masher, but I haven`t tried that. Season with salt, a little pepper and, depending on your taste, with granular broth.
- Frankfurter or beef sausages, which are heated in the finished soup, go well with it. If you like it, you can also eat the pork belly with it.
- In the past, we didn`t have sausages with it, but rather small apple pancakes afterwards.
