Puff Buns with Nut Filling

I noticed this recipe for buns for a long time. Today we will try super puff buns made from two types of dough! And the filling is so tasty that I had to save it. 🙂 I almost ate it! Buns with nut filling are beautiful, aromatic, and with a very interesting cooking technology! These are the buns we will have for tea.

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Milk – 150 ml
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 110 g
  • Butter – 40 g
  • Flour – 500 g
  • Dry yeast – 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 20 g
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cocoa – 2 teaspoon

For filling:

  • Walnuts – 200 g
  • Raisins – 100 g
  • Milk – 1 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar – 2 tbsp

To roll out the dough:

  • Starch
  • Butter
  • Yolk – for greasing buns

Directions

  1. We activate the yeast, make a quick dough. We make a depression in the flour, send milk, sugar and yeast there. We send to a warm place for 10 minutes.
  2. We send sour cream, butter to the dough (I melted it a little, you can just take soft butter), a pinch of salt, an egg.
  3. We knead a soft elastic dough.
  4. Divide the finished dough into two parts (preferably equal). In one part we mix cocoa, in the second – flour set aside earlier.
  5. You get two types of test. Cover both parts of the dough with foil and let rise, in about 30 minutes.
  6. During this time, we will prepare the filling for the puff buns.
  7. Grind nuts in any way convenient for you.
  8. Add powdered sugar, raisins and a little cream (milk). Mix and you’re done!
  9. The dough has risen.
  10. Divide the dough into 6 pieces, both types. Let it lie on the table under the film for 10 minutes.
  11. Prepare the starch and melted butter.
  12. Take the dough ball. Use starch to sprinkle the table, it is much easier to roll out with it, and then there will be a crisp crust.
  13. Roll out the dough into a thin layer.
  14. Lubricate the layers with butter.
  15. We put the layers of dough in a pile, alternating colors.
  16. Roll out the entire stack at once and cut into strips. Lubricate each strip on one side with water or the remaining oil.
  17. Let’s wrap the strip in a roll.
  18. On the one hand, we make a depression.
  19. Add the filling to the bun.
  20. Let’s pinch the bottom.
  21. We give the buns a distance of 10 minutes.
  22. Then grease the buns with yolk and send them to the preheated oven.
  23. We bake puff buns with nuts for 20-30 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. Unusual and delicious!
