Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry from the refrigerated shelf
  • 1 can tuna, in its own juice
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 100 g cheese, rated (e.. Emmentaler)
  • 3 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, hot
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoon sesame seeds or poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Peel the onion, cut into small pieces and sauté (tip: in a small baking dish in the microwave for 4-5 minutes). Drain the tuna and add the chopped pieces to the onions, add the grated cheese, herbs and mustard and mix everything well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Lay out the sheet of puff pastry, cut it in half lengthways and distribute the mixture in the middle of the two long strips. Then roll up each strip from the long side and place the seam down on baking paper. Brush the rolls with condensed milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds. It is best to chill or freeze for about 1 hour, then the rolls are easier to cut into pieces.
  3. Cut the rolls into small, praline-sized pieces and bake them for 10-15 minutes at 220 ° C in a preheated oven.
  4. The appetizers go well with an aperitif or a glass of sparkling wine. The recipe quantity is approx. 30 pieces.
