Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ pack puff pastry, half which is rolled
  • 3 teaspoons jelly (quince jelly)
  • 4 teaspoons quark, drained
  • 1 teaspoon raisins, to taste
  • Almond (s), chopped, as needed
  • Sugar or honey, to taste

Instructions

  1. I still had some puff pastry left over and this is when this idea occurred to me
  2. Preparation:
  3. Mix the quince jelly with the drained quark and raisins.
  4. In the meantime, roast the almonds or let them caramelize in a pan.
  5. Spread the quark and quince mixture on the puff pastry, spread the caramelized almonds on top and roll up and put in the oven at about 220 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  6. If you like, you can also add whisked egg yolks for the color before baking (brush on).
