Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry, fresher from the refrigerated shelf
  • 2 onion (s), diced
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, chopped, pressed
  • 500 g tartare
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ rosemary, thyme, oregano, sweet pepper each
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 medium tomato (s), sliced
  • 150 ml sweet cream
  • 2 egg (s)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pack sheep`s cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil and lightly sweat the onions and garlic in it. Add the tartare and fry until crumbly. Reduce the heat, stir in the tomato paste, herbs and paprika, season with salt and pepper. Whisk eggs and cream in a bowl and lightly salt.
  2. Place the puff pastry in a baking dish. Pour the tartar mixture on top, pour the egg cream evenly over it and cover everything with the tomato slices. Finally, the sheep cheese is crumbled over it. Bake at 200 ° until the dough and cheese are nice and brown.
  3. Salad goes well with it.
