Remove the skin from the fresh pumpkin flesh and roughly dice. Cook in a saucepan with the remaining ingredients for about 10 minutes until the pumpkin pieces are soft. Then everything is pureed very thoroughly with the blender. Now the drink just has to cool down and the pumpkin juice that Harry, Hermione and Ron like to drink is ready.
If you had a different idea of the consistency when reading the books, you can of course use more or less water, or you can enrich the whole thing with sparkling water and turn it into a tangy spritzer.
