Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g suar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • 100 g almond (s), round
  • 1 cup milk
  • 250 g raisins
  • 1 bottle rum flavor, or 2 tablespoons rum
  • water

Instructions

  1. Put the raisins, rum flavor and some water in a bowl and let soak for about 30 minutes. Grease a loaf pan. Preheat oven to 175 degrees.
  2. For the batter, beat the margarine until frothy and slowly pour in the sugar. Gradually add the eggs and stir well. Sieve the flour into the mass. Gently stir in the baking powder, salt, nutmeg powder, almonds and milk.
  3. Drain the raisins and pat dry with a kitchen towel if necessary. To prevent the raisins from sinking down, dust them with a little flour. Fold the raisins into the batter and pour the mixture into the loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 175 degrees for 45 minutes on the middle rack. Let cool for about 15 minutes before turning over.
