Ratatouille with Cheese Sauce

This recipe allows you to easily cook delicious ratatouille with potatoes and cheese sauce in the oven. A wonderful seasonal vegetable dish that is sure to please everyone.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Zucchini – 1 pc.
  • Eggplant – 1 pc.
  • Tomatoes – 2-3 pcs.
  • Potatoes – 3-4 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 150 g
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Ground nutmeg – on the tip of a knife
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Combine zucchini and eggplant, salt, stir and leave for 20 minutes.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices.
  3. Cut the tomato into slices.
  4. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Put vegetables in a mold, alternating between zucchini, eggplant, potatoes, and tomatoes, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  6. Combine cheese with milk, eggs, add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and stir.
  7. Pour the cheese mixture over the vegetables. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
  8. Ratatouille with cheese sauce is ready.
