Ingredients

  • 1 small Head red cabbage
  • 1 onion (s), red
  • 160 g Goronzola
  • 4 pear (s)
  • 120 g walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 orange (s)
  • 3 tablespoon currant vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Clean the red cabbage, remove the stalk and cut the red cabbage into fine strips. Peel the onion and cut into fine, half rings. Mix both with a teaspoon of salt and knead vigorously.
  2. Squeeze the orange, mix the juice with vinegar (any other fruity vinegar is also possible), honey, cinnamon and pepper, marinate the red cabbage and onion in it for at least two hours.
  3. Remove the core and stem from the pears, then cut into slices and drizzle with lemon juice. Roast walnuts and roughly chop, cut the Gorgonzola into small cubes. Mix the salad with olive oil, arrange on plates, place pear slices on top, sprinkle cheese and nuts on top.
