Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries (frozen)
  • 300 g red wine, drier
  • 400 g preservin suar, 2: 1
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ ascorbic acid (pure vitamin C powder)

Instructions

  1. Pour the red wine over the strawberries and let them steep for 2-3 hours.
  2. Add the preserving sugar and ascorbic acid and pass the fruit a little - but not too fine. Heat slowly while stirring and cook for another minute after cooking has started. Possibly do the gelling test. Then skim and fill the hot jam to the brim in the prepared glasses. Close it immediately and turn it upside down for a few minutes.
  3. It tastes delicious and is not too sweet.
