Ingredients

  • 175 g rice
  • 400 g zucchini
  • 2 onions)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 4 tomato (s)
  • some oregano stalks
  • some stalks thyme
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 250 g sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cook rice in 350 ml salted water.
  2. Wash the zucchini and cut diagonally into slices. Dice the onions and garlic cloves. Skin the tomatoes and also dice them. Pluck thyme and oregano and finely chop.
  3. Fry the zucchini in hot oil until golden brown. Remove from the pan and fry the minced meat in the remaining frying fat until crumbly. Add onions, garlic, thyme and oregano and fry for 3 minutes. Add the zucchini slices and diced tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  5. Chop 100g feta and mix with the eggs and sour cream and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Layer the mince mixture and rice in a baking dish and spread the sour cream on top. Now crumble the remaining feta over the casserole and bake for about 25 minutes. Take out of the oven and garnish with oregano leaves.
